The Challenge

Create a brand and identity for a traditional Ravioli Kit that his holiness would approve of. Tasked with coming up with a name, branding, design, packaging, print materials, and e-commerce store that reflects and invokes a feel of Italian heritage.

The Result

The Bartolomeo’s real Ravioli Kit brand has all the hallmarks of Italian-inspired design. A bold contrasted slab typeface that is sleek and chiseled. A hand-drawn and shadowed Italian flag banner carries the brand descriptor in a custom-made renaissance-like script lettering. Footed by a homage to the chef Bartolomeo featuring Old Style Figures for the date. A traditional numeric styling. The color scheme addresses the quality of ingredients with a bold gold two-tone. The identity is placed primarily on a lavish blue background. All the elements and colors together remind the customer of a pasta box-like energy that encourages hunger.
