Quick Tip: How to Easily Post Your WooCommerce Products to Social Media Profiles

Categories

By now, you have heard of the buzz phrase “Social Commerce”. Simply put, Social Commerce is simply integrating social media marketing into your eCommerce strategy. You enable your social strategy to go hand-in-hand with your eCommerce platform.

For some, however, this is much easier said than done. Social marketing can be tedious work, especially if you have a load of other responsibilities to tend to. If this describes your dilemma, then you’re probably wondering how to make things easier.

Today we’re going to talk about a very simple way to enhance the social factor of your store: Automatically posting your WooCommerce products to your social networking page (Facebook, Twitter, etc. ).

Publicize Products with the Jetpack Plugin

Jetpack is a criminally underutilized WordPress plugin. Admittedly, if you only use it to publish your products on social media, you’re not taking advantage of its full potential.

While we’re not going to talk about every function that Jetpack has, we’re going to discuss how to take advantage of its social media potential.

  1. Once you’re Jetpack has been installed, go to Settings > Sharing
  2. Click on the Connect button next to the social network that you want to connect your store to
  3. Lastly, log into the social network and authorize that connection.

Once you have done all of that, you’ll notice a Publicize option in the Publish section (you’ll see the Publish section when you create a new page or post.
